THE APPRENTICESHIP STANDARD

Level of the apprenticeship Level 3 (equivalent to A levels)
Duration of the programme Approximately 18 months
Funding (from May 2017) Up to £9,000 per apprentice
Entry requirements The employer decides on the criteria
Qualifications Candidates should have achieved Level 2 English and maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) prior to the end-point assessment
Assessment Two evaluations: mid-point and end-point assessments
